Conference on Global Challenges and Opportunities
Bhayander - A mega member conference 2014 was organised with the theme of 'Global Challenges & Opportunities before CA profession' by the Indian Institute of Charted Accountants of India, Vasai branch of WIRC recently in which more than 300 CA participated at GCC club Mira-Road under the chairmanship of CA Kishor Vaishnav and members committee Chairman CA Umesh Mistry.
The conference was inaugurated by Past President of ICAI CA kamlesh Vickamsey, CA Tarun Ghiya,Chairman of WIRC CA Anil Bhandari, secretary CA Shruti Shah and other eminent dignitaries. Conference was for two days in which leading speakers CA Mayur Chokshi,CA Dhimal Shah,CA Atul Bheda,CA Sanjeev Lalan,CA Rakesh Upadhyay,CA Sunny Bilaney,CA Bhupendra Shah,CA Pankaj Ghadiali,CA Ramnath Ayyar enriching the knowledge of the participants on subject area such as IFRS and comparison with India as,GARR, Inbound Investment in India and Professional Opportunities for CA's,Introduction to transfer pricing of International transactions,Opportunities under ADR,Movement from business process outsourcing to knowledge process outsourcing,Mutual recognisition agreements and memorendum of understanding of ICAI and many more.
CA Nihar Jambusaria (CCM),Regional council member CA Sunil Patodia,Vishnu Agrawal,CA Suresh Joshi,CA Mahesh Madkhokar appreciated the initiative and efforts taken by team oe Vasai branch in various programmes on different issues.
